Ocean EnbarLitigation Lawyer
Ocean Enbar is a Toronto civil litigation lawyer and the founder of Enbar Litigation. He acts for individuals, business owners and companies across Ontario, bringing and defending claims in real estate, pre-construction, corporate and commercial, lending and debt, construction and consumer disputes.
Ocean came to law from public affairs, where he worked at a lobbying firm. He holds an Honours BA from Western University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. Before beginning his career as a civil litigator, he worked at a corporate-commercial boutique law firm. Each time a deal there fell apart, he saw the people it left behind and wanted to be the one to resolve what followed, at the negotiating table or in court. That pull made litigation his calling.
Ocean’s career began at Powell Litigation, where he articled and practised. Within months of being called to the Ontario bar in 2023, he was arguing motions in the Superior Court of Justice and was quickly entrusted to run an autonomous litigation practice within the firm, carrying hundreds of files from the first consultation through to resolution or adjudication: in negotiations and mediations, on motions, and at hearings and trials.
What stayed with him were the people behind those files: business owners, homeowners and families for whom a dispute was never only a legal problem. He founded Enbar Litigation in 2026 to build a practice around those clients and the team that supports them, one where clients work directly with the lawyer responsible for their matter, know what a dispute is worth before they commit to it, and are supported by a close team that knows their file.

How Ocean works.
The ROI of the dispute, first.
Before any step, Ocean weighs the likely cost against what is at stake, the realistic range of results, whether a result can be collected and the most efficient route, so the strategy makes practical sense, not only legal sense.
Resolution before proceedings, where it serves you.
A well-prepared demand, a negotiated release or an early agreement often settles a dispute. Ocean is frequently retained before any claim is started.
Scope that fits the matter.
Not every dispute needs a full retainer. Ocean also takes on defined work: reviewing your position, a demand letter, a negotiated release or independent legal advice.
Ready for court when it is needed.
Pleadings, examinations for discovery, motions, hearings and trials, with Ocean Enbar personally responsible for the strategy and every court appearance.
Lawyer-led, technology-assisted.
Ocean leads and reviews every matter. Secure, business-grade technology, including AI tools, handles routine tasks such as organising documents, with client confidentiality protected throughout and in keeping with the Law Society of Ontario’s rules. The time saved goes into judgment and advocacy.
